Two Arrests in Probation Violation Search

Bob Joseph/ WNBF News [file][/caption]Two people are facing charges after Broome County Sheriff’s Officials paid a visit to an apartment on Thorpe Street in Binghamton looking for a woman wanted for violation of probation on a charge of attempted robbery.

The Warrant Division says 22 year old Catherine Boyea-Kaminsky has been evading authorities since mid-September.

Officials say they found her behind a couch and arrested 23 year old Derek Greene for reportedly trying to hide her.

Boyea-Kaminsky was sent to the Broome County Jail while Greene was charged with felony hindering prosecution and ordered to appear in Binghamton City Court court at a later date.
