Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say they found materials used to make methamphetamine when they checked out a report of suspicious activity at an old travel trailer off Scutt Hill Road near the town line of Harford and Lapeer.

Deputies say while they were investigating the unoccupied trailer, 32 year old Corrie Ryan of Cortland and 22 year old Chelin Kash of Homer walked out of the woods around the trailer.

As they were talking to Ryan and Kash, authorities say they located lab equipment and other ingredients used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Kash and Ryan were each charged with felony unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine and unlawful disposal of meth.

The pair was sent to the Cortland County Jail. Ryan was jailed without bail while bail was set for Kash at $5,000.
