Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]No injuries are reported in a smoky garage fire that challenged firefighters with cold temperatures, water availability and strong winds.

The two-alarm blaze on Monkey run road in Port Crane at around 9:30 a.m. February 11 was confined to the attached garage.

Smoke from the fire could be seen for miles, prompting several calls to Broome County Emergency Services offices.

Fire officials say they managed to contain the blaze and there was only minimal damage to the home.

Two vehicles in the driveway, however, were lost along with the garage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
