No major power outages are reported but driving is difficult with the first real snow storm of the season in the Twin Tiers.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning until Thursday afternoon with several inches of snow falling in the region.

NOAA says total snow and sleet accumulations are projected at 6 to 10 inches with highest amounts over higher elevations.

Compounding travel issues are wind speeds. Gusts could reach up to 35 miles per hour, further reducing visibility.
