Truman Foundation Awards Grant to Binghamton University

Binghamton, NY -- The Mildred Faulkner Truman Foundation of Owego, N.Y. has awarded a $15,000 grant to continue providing scholarship assistance to Tioga County students attending Binghamton University in the 2013-2014 academic year.

Since 1998, Truman Foundation has assisted 225, currently 76, Tioga County students attending Binghamton University. 61% of students qualify for financial assistance. Eligibility for the scholarship is based on residency and financial necessity. Students can apply by completing a FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) application. Aplications can be found online or at any high school guidance office.
