A long-haul trucker is to serve eight years in prison after pleading guilty to downloading child pornography on his laptop computer in his truck.

61 year old Neal Braden was pulled over by New York State Police in Central New York for failing to have the correct Highway Use Tax documentation displayed when they found 19 child porn videos on his computer.

Federal prosecutors say Braden also pleaded guilty to an indictment pending in the Western District of Missouri that charged him with possessing child pornography in Morgan County, Missouri.

After serving his 97 months in federal prison, Braden will be on 15 years supervised release and be required to pay $1,000 in restitution to each of four victims.  He will also have to register as a sex offender.
