Truck Stop Employee Accused of Stealing from the Store

A Binghamton woman is accused of stealing over 100 packs of cigarettes from her place of employment.

New York State Police say 23 year old Amber Welch is charged with felony grand larceny.

Troopers say she is accused of stealing over 135 packs, worth about $1,050 while working at the cashier counter at the TA Truck Stop on State Route 11 in Kirkwood.

Welsh has been ordered to appear in Town of Kirkwood Court later this month.
