A Binghamton truck driver is being charged with drunk driving after the Broome County Sheriff’s Patrol Division says his tractor trailer crossed into the westbound lane of Colesville Road at Barlow Road in the Town of Kirkwood December 28 and hit two other tractor trailers.  54 year old Daniel Masonic’s rig then went off the road, up an embankment and into a group of trees.

Authorities say they measured Masonic’s blood alcohol content at .18%.

He’s charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, operating a commercial vehicle with a blood alcohol content at over .06% and was ticketed for consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and driving left of pavement markings.

Authorities reported only minor injuries.
