Tri Cities Opera in Binghamton is '65 and so alive' as it launches its fall season with two performances of Bizet's Carmen October 25 and 27 at the Forum Theater.

Speaking on the October 5 edition of the local weekly public affairs show, Southern Tier Close Up, TCO marketing director, Judy Berry says the company chose three of the most popular operas to perform for the 65th season.

In addition to the steamy story of love, jealousy and betrayal that is Carmen, Tri Cities Opera's world-class singers, set designers, costumers and musicians will be treating audiences to Mozart's Don Giovanni February 7 and 9 and wrap up the season with the charming Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss.

Berry also fills listeners in on all the activities that TCO performers have been involved in over the summer, upcoming 'Flash Mob-pra' (you never know where or when an aria may break out!), Operalogs and plans for New Year's Eve.
