The Town of Union has set dates for a series of public meetings that will focus on recovery and revitalization in the area.  The meetings will include discussion of economic issues, infrastructure and housing, parks and recreation in the Town.

The meetings are designed to improve and create communication between and among residents, businesses and others who have an interest in the development of a Long Term Community Recovery Strategy to address the devastating impact of the flood that hit the area in September, 2011.

Town and village elected officials will be invited to attend these meetings and engage in dialog to come up with a plan for action.  These meetings are part of a citizen participation effort called The ReUNION  Project 2020.

Monday, July 8:  Topic:   Housing at Town Hall, 3111 East Main Street, Endwell

Tuesday, July 9:  Topic:  Parks and Recreation at Endwell Fire Dept.,3508 Country Club Road in Endwell

Monday, July 22:  Topic: Economic Revitalization at George F Johnson Memorial Library, 1001 Park Street in Endicott

Tuesday, July 23:  Topic:  Infrastructure at the Johnson City Senior Center, 30 Brocton Avenue in Johnson City

All meetings are scheduled to run from 6 - 8 PM.
