Several trailers in Endicott that were heavily damaged by the 2011 flood and have been sitting vacant will be torn down in a matter of days whether the owners take responsibility or not.

Town of Union officials have posted signs on the properties off Laurelton Drive saying the trailers must be removed from the site by January 12 or they will be demolished by the town and the bill sent to the owners.

The trailers are owned by three people and have been condemned as uninhabitable.

Once the site is cleared, it is to be turned into green space.
