A Town of Union woman is accused of letting her 12 year old daughter drive a car to demonstrate the safety features of the vehicle before the young driver crashed the vehicle.

Broome County Sheriff's officials say 37 year old Michelle Lynn Hill looked on as her daughter drove two 13 year old passengers in the parking lot of the old Heritage Country Club.

Officials say the girl lost control and the car sped out of the parking lot, hit an earth embankment and rolled twice before coming to rest on its wheels in the parking lot.

All three children were wearing seat belts and suffered mainly minor injuries.

The vehicle was destroyed.

Hill was charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment and released on her own recognizance following her arraignment in Town of Union Court.
