Town of Greene Man is Charged With Felony Criminal Mischief

Chenango County Sheriff's officials say a Town of Greene man is accused of drilling a hole in the bottom of a fuel oil tank at a home in the town, causing the fuel oil to leak out.

29 year old Jeremy Cruz is charged with felony criminal mischief.

Officials say they had received a report from the property owner that a tenant had caused the damage.

Cruz was arrested December 31 and ordered to appear in Town of Greene Court at a later date.
