Town of Franklin Man Arrested For Growing Pot

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by their K-9 Officer “Ozzie”, has arrested a Town of Franklin man for growing marijuana on his property.

Police say they executed a search warrant on Thursday afternoon at the Snake Hill Road residence of 33-year-old Lee March and discovered the pot.  Officials say they have seized seven large marijuana plants, several drying plans, approximately one ounce of processed marijuana, an undisclosed amount of hashish, drug paraphernalia and several long guns.

March is charged with criminal possession of marijuana and unlicensed cultivation of marijuana.  He was arraigned in the Town of Hamden Court and released on his own recognizance pending further court action.
