A Binghamton man is accused of holding up a Town of Chenango jewelry Store January 25th with the threat that he had a bomb.

Broome County Sheriff's investigators January 28th located 20 year old Ty Tumminia in the Town of Dickinson and charged him with felony counts of robbery and placing a false bomb.

Tumminia is accused of entering Ruby and Son's Jewelers on Upper Front Street and telling employees he had explosives in his duffle bag.

Authorities located the bag a short time later behind a house on Carmichael Road and determined it was inert.

Tuminia was taken into custody without incident and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
