City of Binghamton officials say a preliminary review of the Town and Country Apartments has shown police had been to the complex 1,4045 times for investigations into a recent homicide, narcotics, assaults, thefts, fights, shots fired and more.

City officials, including the police chief, plan to meet with representatives of the apartment complex to try to work out a solution to the problems.

The City is reviewing the business’ eligibility to applying the lock-down law if the problems aren’t fixed.

Officials say they want to assure residents that the entire complex is not targeted for possible lock down but action could be considered for some specific units in order to protect the safety of the other tenants.
