Towanda Man is Scammed Out of Lots of Money

A Towanda man is reported to be a victim of a telephone scam, costing him a large amount of money.

Pennsylvania State Police say the 74 year old was contacted by a man who claimed to be a computer software support employee with Metrix Idea, working with Microsoft and convinced the victim to send the money to a location in India via Western Union.
