A big crowd turned out this morning (Monday) for the 57th Annual Mirabito Columbus Day Tournament of Bands in Binghamton.  A number of marching bands from all around the area participated in the parade through downtown Binghamton.

With most schools closed for the holiday large numbers of people watched as the bands made their way down Main Street from Arthur to the intersection of Court and State Streets.  People of all ages looked on as the bands performed their routines.

Following the parade the Italian Festival was held near Boscov's along Water and Court Streets.  All kinds of Itialian food was served.  One of the area's most popular bands, "Splash" entertained as well.
