Tioga Man Arrested After Dog Bites Girl

A 25-year-old Tioga County man faces several charges following an investigation into a dog bite case.

Authorities say a nine-year-old girl was bitten by a dog on Smith Creek Road while she rode a bike.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, Jack Lindhorst-Moyers of Smith Creek Road was charged with two counts of harboring an unlicensed dog.

Lindhorst-Moyers also was charged with failure to confine a dog and permitting a dog to harass.

Lindhorst-Moyers was ordered to appear in Nichols town court July 11.
