Tioga County Woman Charged in Fraudulent Document Case

An Owego woman has been accused of providing a fraudulent document to the Cortland County Social Services Department.

Authorities say 26-year-old Kelly Decker of Ivory Foster Road was arrested Wednesday by the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department.

Decker was charged with offering a false instrument for filing.

Investigators say Decker is alleged to have submitted a fraudulent document concerning her assets and resources.

The incident allegedly happened last month.

Decker was ordered to appear in Cortland City Court on December 10.
