Tioga County Transportation Workshop Scheduled

The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce is taking registrations for an upcoming workshop to address transportation options in the county.

Residents and business representatives are encouraged to attend the event Thursday, September 28 from 7:45 to 9 a.m. at the Hubbard Auditorium in the Tioga County Office Building on Main Street in Owego.

Organizers say Director of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County, Andy Fagan will direct the workshop, which is made possible through a Mobility Management Grant from the Rural Health Network of South Central New York.

One of the options being discussed is the “Getthere” Call Center as well as Connection to Care and new travel innovations.

Participants also have a chance to share needs and possible solutions.
