Tioga County Man Charged With Attempted Arson

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]A Tioga County man faces attempted arson and several other charges following a pair of domestic disputes at his home.

Authorities say 32-year-old Timothy Schofield also was charged with reckless endangerment, menacing and two counts of criminal contempt.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened at Schofield's residence on Route 79 in the Town of Richford.

Schofield was arraigned in Richford town court and sent to Tioga County Jail on $1,000 bail.
