Tioga County D.A. and County Council Primary Results

A three-way contest for the Republican nomination for District Attorney in Tioga County has ended with unofficial primary results putting Kirk Martin in the slot over Adam Schumaker and Irene Graven. Martin will face the sole Democrat seeking the job, Frederick Luther in November.

For County Council, in Candor, George Williams collected a vote of 275, Matthew Crowe 212 and Jennifer Bennett 197.  Voters were selecting two candidates.

In Nichols, two candidates were also being selected. Bill Middleton and Ray Thetga Sr. got the most votes with William Calodorso trailing.

All results at this time are unofficial with absentee ballots yet to be counted and the votes certified.
