Tim Tebow continues to draw plenty of attention whether his Binghamton Rumble Ponies play at NYSEG Stadium or on the road. Tebow has drawn fans curious to see his progress all around the Eastern League. As temperatures begin to warm up  let's take a look at Tebow's numbers through his first 53 games of the season.

In 166 at bats he has banged out 40 hits and slammed 4 home runs.  Tebow has also connected for one triple, seven doubles  21 runs batted in and drawn 19 walks.  Heading into Tuesday night's home game against the Altoona Curve Tebow is batting .241.

One issue Tebow continues to work on is contact.  He has struck out 73 times.  That translates into 44 percent of the time. Compare that with the Rumble Ponies' top two sluggers.  Peter Alonso leads the team in home runs with 15.  In 188 at bats he has struck out 49 times which translates into 26 percent of the time. Jeff McNeil has 204 at bats this season and has struck out just 23 times. That is just 12 percent of the time.

Tebow leads the Rumble Ponies into action on Tuesday night when they take on the Altoona Curve at NYSEG Stadium. The first pitch is set for 6:35.  Air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
