Ticket Written in Dickinson Head-on Crash

A Binghamton man is being ticketed following a head-on crash on Upper Front Street near Exit 5 in the Town of Dickinson November 15 that caused significant damage to both vehicles.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 23 year old Colton Salinas was driving south at around 8 p.m. when he veered into the northbound lane, colliding with a vehicle driven by Glenn Hippenstiel.

A passenger in the second car was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Salinas told Deputies he couldn’t see the lane markings due to poor lighting.

Salinas was ticketed for driving to the left of the pavement markings.
