An Endicott man faces several charges after he allegedly struggled with police who were trying to take him into custody.

Authorities say 26-year-old Keith Hubbard was spotted by investigators on Thursday evening on North Street in Endicott.

Police say when Hubbard was approached, he attempted to run away.

Investigators say one officer was injured when Hubbard bit him. Another officer sustained a wrist injury while trying to restrain Hubbard and a third officer sustained abrasions.

Hubbard was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and $951 in cash.

Hubbard was charged with three felony assault counts. He also faces counts of criminal mischief, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. Hubbard also was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Hubbard was arraigned in Endicott village court. He was sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
