Three Broome County residents have been arrested in connection with a reported drive-by shooting incident on Binghamton's South Side.

Authorities say all of the men have been charged with attempted assault, a felony.

Two of the suspects, James Durham and Celene Thompson are 35 years old and are from Binghamton. The third, 39-year-old Lance Johnson, lives in Johnson City.

The incident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday near Rush Avenue and Manier Avenue.

Investigators say there had been a report of shots fired in the area. They say there was a shooting but no one was hurt.
