Three Guilty Pleas in Operation Hailstorm Drug Sting

More guilty pleas are coming in “Operation Hailstorm.”

Akuan Johnson of Binghamton, Jerome Bell of Owego and Kenneth Wilson of Binghamton have pleaded guilty to felony methamphetamine conspiracy following a big drug bust in the region in September.  Johnson has also pleaded guilty to money laundering.

Prosecutors say their investigation spanned several years.

Police raided locations in both Broome and Tioga counties and arrested ten suspects in connection with a drug trafficking ring.
