WNBF News

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials, assisted by the New York State Police and the Village of Greene Police department arrested three people in connection with a shooting incident August 1st in the town of McDonough.

Officials say 47 year old Connie Hendrickson of Greene was staying at a home on County Route 7 when she was involved in a dispute with her ex-boyfriend and a woman at around 2:30 p.m.

Sheriff’s officials say Hendrickson is accused of firing about six shots from a rifle at 45 year old Glenn O’Connor and 28 year old Kimberly Haughton, both of Greene.

Three rounds hit the passenger side of Haughton’s vehicle, but no one was injured.

Hendrickson is charged with two felony counts each of attempted assault and reckless endangerment as well as misdemeanor menacing.

O’Connor was charged with criminal possession of a weapon for being a convicted felon in unlawful possession of a rifle.

Haughton is charged with drug possession for allegedly having about three grams of methamphetamine.

O’Connor and Hendrickson were sent to the Chenango County Jail.

Haughton was ordered to appear in Town of McDonough Court at a later date.

Authorities say the investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.
