Three Charged In Sidney Fake Currency Investigation
An investigation into counterfeit bills in Delaware County has resulted in the arrest of three people.
Authorities say 26-year-old Heather Wrench and 23-year-old Wesley Crawn, both of Sidney, have been charged with first-degree forgery and fourth-place conspiracy. The counts are felonies.
According to New York State Police, Wrench and Crawn were arraigned on the charges and ordered held in Delaware County Jail on $5,000 bail.
Investigators say 20-year-old Natasha Finch of Unadilla also was arrested. She was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, three counts of petit larceny and one count of conspiracy.
Finch was arraigned and sent to Otsego County Jail on $5,000 bail.
Police say more arrests are pending in connection with the counterfeit currency investigation.
