A man sustained bruised ribs when he was attacked and robbed by three teenagers on Endicott's North Side.

Authorities say three suspects have been charged in connection with the October 7 strong armed robbery at Watson Boulevard and North Rogers Avenue.

Endicott police detectives say the teenagers who've been arrested in the case were taken into custody at different locations. They're being charged with second-degree robbery, a felony.

According to investigators, 18-year-old Michael Santiago of West Main Street, Endicott, and 16-year-old Louis Rodriguez of Main Street, Binghamton, were sent to Broome County Jail after their arraignment in Endicott Village Court.

A 15-year-old boy who also was charged in the case was issued an appearance ticket for Broome County Family Court.

Detective Lieutenant Steven Noyes told WNBF News some cash and other items were taken from the 36-year-old man. None of the stolen property has been recovered.

The three suspects are believed to have watched the man leave the Apple Foods convenience store at Watson Boulevard and North McKinley Avenue shortly before 11:30 p.m. October 7.

They are said to have followed him and assaulted him about one block west of the store.

Noyes said although the man sustained minor injuries, he was not hospitalized.
