Three people are being charged with a long list of counts following a report of an armed robbery at the Homestead Apartments in the Town of Cortlandville at around 3:45 a.m. October 4.

22 year old Gennessa Thomas of Johnson City, 22 year old Dominque Coker of Syracuse and 36 year old Adam Gregg of Cortland are all charged with felony burglary, robbery, assault, strangulation, conspiracy and grand larceny as well as seven misdemeanor counts.

Sheriff’s officials say a man and woman at the apartment building were attacked and their four year old daughter threatened.

Deputies say the suspects are accused of entering the family's apartment, assaulting the adults, stabbing the woman in the back of the legs and hitting her several times in the face.  The woman required medical attention.

The suspects also indicated they had a gun, but no firearm was seen.

The suspects allegedly took a large amount of cash and the residents' cell phones.

Authorities stopped the suspects' vehicle on Church Street in the City of Cortland.

Two men fled during the traffic stop. One is still at large.

The three suspects in custody are being held without bail at the Cortland County Jail.
