Three Arrested in Broome County For Check Fraud

Three Broome County women have been arrested by the Broome County Sherrif's Detective Division for suspicion of fraud.

Sheriff's officials say 22 year-old Brittany Krisko of Johnson City, 22 year-old Yvonne Scott of Johnson City, and 26 year-old Shanika Cooper of Binghamton have all been charged with conspiring to commit a fraudulent act.  Additionally, Krisko is charged with possession of a forged instrument.

All three woman are accused of trying to cash a forged check for cash.

Krisko was arraigned in the Town of Union Court and remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.  Both Cooper and Scott were released on their own recognizance pending further court action.
