Two men are in custody and another is being sought in connection with a home invasion incident in downtown Binghamton.

Authorities say three people are suspected of being involved in the December 5 incident on Pine Street.

Detectives say 23-year-old Jamal Adams of Binghamton was taken into custody on Fayette Street late Monday night. He was charged with first-degree burglary.

Another man suspected of being involved in the home invasion is being held on Long Island.

Investigators say 22-year-old Toney Barbieri of Las Vegas, Nevada, was arrested in Suffolk County in connection with an unrelated incident.

Police say an arrest warrant has been issued for Barbieri and he's expected to be brought back to Broome County.

Detectives have not said whether they know the identity of the third suspect.
