The leaders in the Dick's Sporting Goods Open go to the tee early this afternoon and when play concludes today there will be a new champion crowned.  Will there be anything close to the fireworks displayed by Kevin Sutherland yesterday ?  Sutherland did something no other golfer has done on the Champion's Tour....shoot a score of 59.  The round of 59 was 13 under par and puts him into the lead by one shot over Steve Lowery and two shots over John Cook.

Sutherland started the day at 1 under par but caught fire from the start of round two and was  -9  through his first 8 holes including an eagle on the par-5 fifth hole.  He nailed 12 birdies along the way.

Sutherland will play with Steve Lowery and John Cook and tee off at 1:31 PM.  Coverage on News Radio1290 WNBF begins at 12:05 PM on the Barb Mack Show and then from 3-5 PM prior to today's Binghamton Mets game in Reading.
