The Binghamton Job Market Posts Gains

The Binghamton Job Market is recording a small growth in non-farm jobs for the year.

The New York State Department of Labor says the area showed 100 new jobs from January of last year through this past January.

Most gains were recorded in health and education, hospitality and construction.

The labor department recorded drops in government and professional/business services.

Gains were also recorded for the year state-wide.
