The Boston University Terriers downed the Binghamton Bearcats 75-65 in men's basketball Saturday at the Events Center.  The game saw former America East foes do battle.  The Terriers left America East to join the Patriot League three seasons ago.

23 first half points from Cheddi Mosely helped put Binghamton down 42-30 at the end of the first half. The Bearcats scored the first four points of the second half and at one point cut the Boston lead to four points but could never move ahead on the scoreboard.

Willie Rodriguez had his second consecutive big game for the Bearcats.  He scored 26 points to pace the BU offense.  In Binghamton's road win at Central Connecticut he scored a career high 27 points.  Marlon Beck scored 17 points...the third consecutive game in which he has notched 17 points.  Beck hit five three-point buckets to account for 15 of those points.  He has scored 14 three's in his last three outings.  Freshman Everson Davis also notched double figures with 11 points.

With the loss Binghamton  falls to 1-4 while the Terriers move to 3-3.  The Bearcats remain home to host Colgate Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).
