Tennis, Pasta and Child’s Play on Southern Tier Close Up

An unlikely pairing appears on the July 6 edition of the weekly local public affairs program, Southern Tier Close Up as Laurie Bowen, Tournament Director for the Levene, Gouldin & Thompson Tennis Challenger and Director of Marketing for the Discovery Center, Martha Steed talk about the relationship between the tennis tournament and the children’s museum, including the Pastabilities with a Taste of Tennis fundraiser for the Discovery Center at the close of play July 18.

The tennis tournament, which draws world class players, will take place July 13-21 at Recreation Park in Binghamton.

2012 US Open Champion, 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist and 2005 LG&T Challenger Champion, Andy Murray will be among players at this year’s 20th anniversary pro tennis tournament in Binghamton.
