Two Tioga County men have been arrested after an early-morning fire alarm at Candor Central High School.

Authorities say 19-year-old Jonathan Lipka and 18-year-old Dylan Rogers, both of Candor, are suspected of entering the high school without permission early Saturday morning.

Investigators say the men are believed to have forced their way through fire doors inside the school. Someone pulled a fire alarm inside the building on Academy Street.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Lipka was arrested at 2:15 a.m. Saturday and Rogers was arrested just over an hour later.

Lipka and Rogers were charged with falsely reporting an incident and criminal trespass.

Both men were issued appearance tickets for Candor village court.

No significant damage was reported as a result of the incident.
