Teen Charged In Binghamton Shooting Investigation
A 17-year-old Binghamton boy has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident on the city's West Side.
Authorities say Erick Gonzalez has been charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, a felony.
City police detectives believe Gonzalez fired a shotgun during a disturbance near 10 Crandall Street. Police were called around 11:30 p.m. May 10 to a reported dispute involving several people.
Officers recovered different types of spent shell casings from a shotgun and a handgun.
Police say Gonzalez was charged on Monday.
