A 15-year-old Endwell boy faces two felony charges for repeatedly trying to illegally enter an Endicott store.

Village police say the youth attempted to break into a Radio Shack store at 1001 North Street on March 28. The boy is accused of trying to get inside by using a tool on the back door of the business.

Detectives say the boy tried again to burglarize the store eleven days later when he attempted to throw a piece of asphalt through the front window. The window didn't break.

Investigators say the teen apparently intended to steal cell phones from the store.

Endicott police were assisted by Binghamton detectives.

The boy was ordered to appear in family court to answer to felony counts of attempted burglary.
