Taste of Home Cooking School entertained and informed over 600 people at the Osterhout Theater at Binghamton University last night.  A couple of dozen vendors were on hand with booth displays before the actual cooking demonstrations.

Ten different dishes were made with members of the audience able to follow along with their own recipe books.  Everything from chili to cupcakes was featured.  For every dish prepared a winner was chosen to take home that item after the show.

Those in attendance got plenty of door prizes including a gift bag filled with coupons from the various vendors.  Olum's was a major sponsor of the night.  As the evening wrapped up two people in attendance were selected to win the appliances used on-stage to prepare the food used in the demonstrations

Appliances used were from Whirlpool.  The winners were Paula Covert from Vestal.  She won a Kitchenade microwave and range.  Diana Whitcher from Endicott was the winner of a stainless steel gas oven and refrigerator.
