Satrurday was a good day for both the Susquehanna Valley and Maine-Endwell baseball teams.

Two of the top teams in New York State battled at Blue Devils Stadium in Chenango Forks on Saturday and when the final whistle sounded the home team was still standing.

The Deposit/Hancock Eagles won the state Class D baseball championship on Saturday while Seton Catholic Central lost their did for a state title.

Section 4 Class B and D teams begin their post-season this weekend.

The Binghamton Patriots got some pay back over the Elmira Express Saturday at Ty Cobb Stadium in Endicott.  In the Section 4 Class AA Championship Game the Patriots avenged a regular season 28-13 loss to the Express with an overtime 36-28 victory...

It was a tough day for the Maine-Endwell Spartans football team.  The Elmira Express spoiled M-E's Homecoming with a 42-6 romp at Spartan Stadium.
