Binghamton Highway Project Work To Resume

Major construction work on the Prospect Mountain project at the Route 17/Interstate 81 interchange should get underway again within a few weeks.

Chenango Street Reopens in Binghamton

Dave Hamburg of the New York Department of Transportation says that Chenango Street in Binghamton has re-opened to pedestrian and vehicle traffic ahead of schedule.

Hamburg told WNBF News that the section of Chenango Street that passes under Interstate 81 reopened to pedestrians at 2PM and to vehicles at 2:30PM on Friday afternoon, hours before the work was scheduled to be completed
