Police say a Johnson City man has been charged in connection with a reported robbery of a downtown Binghamton bank.

Investigators say 24-year-old John DeSantis II was taken into custody at the M&T Bank at 68 Exchange Street.

Authorities are investigating a robbery at a town of Conklin bank.

State police say the First Niagara branch at 1115 Conklin Road was robbed by a man around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.

Lisle Man Charged In Two Bank Robberies

Federal, State, and local police officials announced today the arrest of a Lisle man and have charged him with robbing two Broome County banks.Police say 43 year-old Samuel Parrotti II allegedly robbed the M&T Bank on Vestal Avenue in the City of Binghamton on July 16th and the NBT Bank on Route 11 in Whitney Point on August 1st.
