Syracuse University's all-time scoring leader Lawrence Moten will visit NYSEG Stadium this Saturday night when the Binghamton Mets host Erie at 7:05 PM.  Moten will be on hand to help raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Moten, who was a second round draft pick of the Vancouver Grizzlies following his college career, will sign autographs for a small fee and meet with fans before and during the game.  Discount tickets for the game are available at the Progressive Dental offices in Endwell, Norwich, Conklin and Montrose.  Additional information is available online at: centralny.cff.org.

Moten had an amazing career at Syracuse University.  He is still the all-time Orange leader in scoring averaging 19.3 points per game.  Moten was at Syracuse from 1991 - 1995.  During his stay he was named the Big East Rookie of the Year and garnered First Team All Big East honors three times.

After his senior season Moten  was selected in the second round of the NBA draft by the Vancouver Grizzlies.  He played three seasons in the NBA and continued his professional career in the ABA, South America and Europe.

Moten will throw out the first pitch before Saturday night's game.  His jersey will be retired prior to a Syracuse basketball game at the Carrier Dome this upcoming season.
