One goal separated the Binghamton Bearcats men's soccer team from nationally-ranked Syracuse last night at the Bearcats Sports Complex.  The Orange got a goal from Emil Ekblom in the second half and edged the Bearcats 1-0.  Syracuse came into last night's match-up ranked Number 18 in the latest NSCAA poll and Number 20 by College Soccer News.

Syracuse outshot Binghamton 18-5.  The win puts Syracuse's season record at 7-1-0 while the Bearcats fall to 2-6-0.  Last night's game concludes a four-game homestand for Binghamton.  The Bearcats dropped all four games by scores of 1-0.

The next action for Binghamton comes on the road as the Bearcats travel to Princeton for a 4 PM contest this Saturday.  Binghamton returns to the Bearcats Sports Complex to host Hartford in the America East opener next Saturday, October 4 at 7 PM.
