A former Susquehanna Valley High School teacher is cleared of sex abuse charges.

A Broome County Jury deliberated less than a half hour before acquitting 28 year old Antony Raggi of felony criminal sexual act.

Raggi was charged following accusation of having sexual contact with a 14 year old girl in a classroom in April of 2012 while he was employed by the S.V. school district.

The teacher had been placed on administrative leave by the district following his arrest.  The school is not commenting on Raggi’s employment status.
