Susquehanna, Pennsylvania Park Vandalized

Lee Ann Taylor/ 99.1 The Whale

Authorities in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania are looking for vandals who caused hundreds, if not thousands of dollars-worth of damage to a municipal park.

Workers with the Borough water department arriving on a water tower job discovered offensive graffiti scrawled all over equipment and structures at the Frank J. Reddon Sports Complex on Prospect Street.

Authorities say they don’t know exactly when over the weekend the day-glow images were spray-painted on the park fixtures.

Borough officials say they will have to wait for an insurance settlement to be able to pay for cleaning up the graffiti.

Anyone with information is asked to call Borough Police at (570) 853-3235.
