Hop Bottom Teen Dies in Crash on Route 11 in Lathrop

Kathy Whyte/WNBF News [file][/caption]A Susquehanna County teen is dead after crashing her vehicle on Route 11 in Lathrop Township Saturday, January 14.

Pennsylvania State Police say 19 year old Alexandria Anderson of Hop Bottom lost control at 8:03 p.m., drove off the west shoulder, hit a guide rail, re-entered the road and was hit by a vehicle driven by a Madison Township man.

Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
